This elegant cutting board is handcrafted from White Maple, African Padauk and Ontario Black Walnut. Padauk is an exotic African Hardwood and is well known for its deep colour and wonderful natural luster. It is also very resistant to rot making it a great option for cutting boards that get a lot of use! All boards sanded, polished and sealed FDA approved food-safe sealer. Care: Wash with a soft cloth and a light dish soap, then wipe dry. Do not wash in dishwasher as this will break down the fibers of the wood and age prematurely. This board can be used for cutting and preparing. Do not leave the board exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Colour changes will happen over time and are completely natural as the wood ages. From time to time you can refresh your board with our mineral oil and beeswax mixture - included with the purchase of this cutting board.
